Another milestone for Tupaea

Panthers and WNBL Flames star Tahlia Tupaea has reached another milestone in her illustrious career with selection in the Australian U19 Womens Basketball squad for the 2015 World Championships to be held in Russia in July.

This will be Tahlia’s 3rd World Championships after gaining selection in the U19 team to LIthuania as a 16yo in 2013 then captaining the U17 Women in the Czech Republic in 2014.

Tahlia must also be congratulated on her award for the Sportsperson of the Year at the Penrith Australia Day Awards. What a fantastic honour and well deserved. The dedication and commitment shown by Tahlia and her family is admirable.

All of her Panther fans and friends wish her the very best for the upcoming Championships and the remaining games in the WNBL.

Fans can watch Tahlia in action for the Sydney Flames this Saturday night, 7pm at the Sydney Uni as they battle Bendigo Spirit for a place in the semi-finals.
