Tahlia Tupaea will head off to the Czech Republic for her second World Championships, this time in her true age group the U17’s.
After competing successfully in the U19 Worlds last year as a 16yo and winning a bronze medal, Tahlia is keen to lead her U17 team to a medal too and will be one of the dominant guards at the tournament.
She is looking forward to playing with this group of girls who have all been developed over the past 2 years at Australian junior camps and who she has developed some great on court chemistry and off court friendships.
All of her team mates, friends and supporters at Penrith will be cheering her on. Tahlia will play her last game in our Championship Women’s team before leaving for the World Championships in mid June, this Saturday at 6.00pm.
