Panthers perform well at State

The U18Men1, U16Men1 and U14Men and Women 1 have all had a fantastic weekends at the NSW Junior State Championships.

Both the U18Men and the U14Men reached the Grand Final but were unable to finish with the title for 2013.

The 18M1 played the entire weekend with only seven players and fatigue just crept in to the final stages of their game. All team members should be very proud of their result and is a great achievement.

The U16Men played some fantastic basketball too to reach the semi final series. This team has had the best results for their age group for quite a few years and all should be congratulated.

The U14Men were just out muscled by a big, strong Illawarra team but will be ready for their next challenge at the Australian Club Championships. This is only the second loss for this team this year.

The U14Women played a great game against North’s in the semi final with more than enough opportunities to win against the favourites but too many missed baskets and free throws robbed them of the win and now they also move on to preparing for the clubs.
